American Girl offers many character stories that help explore historical perspectives from a girl's point of view. During our American Girl Book Club Meetings, we will gather to discuss a different American Girl. We'll make crafts or play games that tie into the book, character, or era. During this October meeting, we'll travel to the year 1824 and meet Josefina. Josefina lives on a farm in New Mexico called a rancho. Girls may bring a doll to our meeting, but a doll isn't mandatory. Registration is required to ensure that we have enough materials. Please register at the Madison Library, or by calling 256-461-0046.
