American Girl offers many character stories that help explore historical perspectives from a girl's point of view. During our American Girl Book Club Meetings, we will gather to discuss a different American Girl. We'll make crafts or play games that tie into the book, character, or era. During this November meeting, we'll travel to the year 1764 and meet Kaya. Kaya is a member of the Nez Perce tribe from the Pacific Northwest. Girls may bring a doll to our meeting, but a doll isn't mandatory. Registration is required to ensure that we have enough materials. Registration opens on October 18th. Please visit the Madison Library or call 256-461-0046 to register.
