The Monster of Piedras Blancas (1959)
A lighthouse keeper warns the coastal villagers about the monster that lurks in the caves around the coast line but everyone laughs at him and never notice that he is feeding something out in the surf. Meanwhile, his daughter is seeing a boy from town with an amazing pompadour. The Monster of Piedras Blancas is a lot like Creature from the Black Lagoon, but with a lot more noggins being freed from neck bones.
Gimmick- All audience members will be given a Monster of Piedras Blancas Survival Kit should The Monster of Piedras Blancas threaten anyone during the show. Kits include food to feed the monster, protection to scare the monster away, and a bandage...in case you lose your head!
Auditorium 1 opens at 6:00. Food and drink are allowed in the auditorium during the film, and I encourage you to bring snacks or even dinner and make it a date night. (Tables are available for easier grubage enjoyment.) There will be a short discussion about the film and the gimmick at 6:15 and the film starts promptly at 6:30
