The women's suffrage movement in Huntsville-Madison County galvanized women from across racial and socioeconomic lines to advocate for equal voting rights.  Black and white women wanted voting rights to improve the lives of all women and children in Alabama.  Learn about these remarkable women and their contributions to our community.  This program is in partnership with the Historic Huntsville Foundation.
