Celebrating the Alabama Authors Quilt exhibit in conjunction with the Historic Huntsville Foundation, the South Huntsville Library is hosting an event for local quilters and quilting groups to teach new techniques and meet other quilting organizations. Alabama Authors Quilt on display in the Creative Commons

Card Making at 10:00 am

Laura Patrick is available to discuss her Alabama quilts and her book "Heart For a Hero" 11:00 am in the Creative Commons

Luanne Poole speaks at 1:00 pm in the Creative Commons

Kari Hawkins speaks at 2:00 pm about her award winning quilt with examples of her other quilts in the Creative Commons

The Alabama Authors Quilt Event at the South Huntsville Library recognizes the art of quilting and aims to provide an opportunity for quilters to meet, teach and learn about their varied organizations and craft guilds. Our event is open to any level of ability or interest.
