Thursday, April 27, 2023 6 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.
Byron Orlock is one of the grand masters of horror cinema, but by the end of the 60s he doesn't think his brand of spooky castles and stormy nights terror is scaring modern audiences. He feels like a relic and decides to retire from the business. His final public appearance is planned for the drive-in premiere of his last movie. On the same night, Bobby Thompson, a respected young man from a good family, goes on a shooting spree and hides in the drive-in theater's screen from police, where his spree continues. Classic horror meets modern horror. The great Boris Karloff portrays Orlock and Tim O'Kelly as Thompson. This was Peter Bogdonavich's directorial debut. It is a challenging film that will have you talking about it long after you have seen it. In Color. 90 minutes. The Auditorium will open at 6:00 pm and the movie begins at 6:30 pm.
