In conjunction with the Scottsboro Boys travel exhibition that is being hosted at the Downtown Huntsville Public Library we are presenting Black in the South.  A film series that looks at the historical Black experience in the South through the lens of cinema.

This week is Green Book, an Academy Award winning film from 2018 starring Mahershala Ali.  A working-class Italian-American bouncer becomes the driver for an African-American classical pianist on a tour of venues through the 1960s American South.
