Teen Writers Group
Thursday, November 14, 2024 4 p.m. – 5 p.m.
A Writer's critique group for teens ages 12-17*. Teens should come prepared with a 3-6 page, typed and printed excerpt** from a story they are actively writing on which they would like feedback. You can also just come and participate in giving feedback.
This program meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month in the kids classroom at the back of the children's section.
Feedback is crucial for writing, and helps produce a piece that is best for readers. It also help writer's learn and develop their writing skills, as well as providing useful help with brainstorming and problem solving.
*18 year-olds may attend provided they have not yet graduated high school
** Please submit only age-appropriate material.
