Sugar Hill (1974)
After mobsters kill her boyfriend, Sugar Hill (Marki Bey) visits Mama Maitresse to summon Baron Samedi. With an army of voodoo zombies, a fuzzy-funky soundtrack and her cool attitude, Sugar hits back harder than they can handle. Its an urban horror fable bursting with 70s-style flash and fashion as Sugar takes down the mob. Sugar Hill was Rated PG by the MPA by the standards of 1974. It contains adult language, situations and humor, big hair, flared collars, voodoo zombies and scenes of supernatural vengeance. The Auditorium opens at 6:00 p.m. and the movie begins at 6:30 p.m. Food and drink are allowed in the Auditorium during the film. 91 minutes.
