Check out the 2025 Madison Seed Library at the "Totally Tomatoes" program and in the Madison Library. We are offering a limited supply of sample-size packs of seeds that grow well in Northern Alabama as long as supplies last this spring.  Patrons may take up to three (3) packs of seeds per family, per visit.

Some of our seeds include:

  • tomatoes
  • zucchini
  • squash
  • okra
  • cucumbers
  • lettuce
  • swiss chard
  • collards
  • squash
  • eggplant
  • peppers
  • carrots
  • sunflowers
  • wildflowers
  • and more!

This program is supported by the Jane R. Parks Memorial Grant, Marilyn Lands, Madison Friends of the Library, and Madison Garden Club.

Contact Carolyn at creagle@hmcpl.org with questions.
