Memories to Memoirs with Nature and Place

Everyone has a story inside of them. Join us for a series of writing workshops led by Amy Krafcik, a retired English teacher and writing instructor.  During our workshops, participants will go through a process to find life stories from their experiences related to nature and place. Attendees are encouraged to bring a notebook, tablet, computer or whatever writing materials you may need. 

Here is the plan for the workshops:

• Use sketching and listing of places to harvest life stories. 
• Use prompts and suggestions for creating a readable story.
• Look at pictures and art to generate future stories. 

There is no requirement to attend all the sessions, participants can attend one or all of the sessions and still have valuable take-aways for writing memoirs.
