Join us at the South Huntsville Public Library for an afternoon with acclaimed author Hampton Sides, in conversation with Kevin Gray, featuring a discussion and book signing in celebration of the paperback release of The Wide Wide Sea—named The New York Times' 10 Best Books of 2024 and featured on Barack Obama's Summer Reading List.

About the Author:

Bestselling narrative historian Hampton Sides is best known for his gripping nonfiction works that concern classic episodes from America's past, stories often set in war or depicting epic adventures of exploration.

 

About Kevin Gray:

Kevin Gray is an avid reader of historical nonfiction and a dedicated advocate of libraries and learning. He is the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Alabama Farmers Cooperative, as well as a current board member and former chairman of the HMCLF.
