Stay gold with The Outsiders (1983). In a small Oklahoma town in 1964, the rivalry between two gangs, the poor Greasers and the rich Socs, heats up when one gang member accidentally kills a member of the other. This film in rated PG-13. The quintessential teen novel and film- outside of required viewing in high school English- the film is rarely talked about despite being directed by Francis Ford Coppola and starring the biggest stars of the 80s.
