Thursday, March 12, 2026 2 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.
Have a kid age 7-11* who loves science and art? This week at South Huntsville Library we will learn the history and engineering behind the James Webb Telescope, the largest telescope in space. Our resident Solar System Ambassador will be joining us to teach about the telescope and showing close-up images of galaxies that we previously couldn't see. Afterwards, participants will create their own galaxy artwork.
Sign-up is required weekly and opens one week before the event. Children may not be signed up for both sessions in a week; please pick one.
To sign-up follow this link: link will post just after 11:30am on the Thursday prior to this event.
Please Note: if you do not receive a confirmation or the form does not load, then the class is likely full and you should email southsci@hmcpl.org to be added to the waitlist.**
