Are you someone who enjoys playing detective? Do you stay up late reading to find out who the killer is? Well, this is the mystery book club for you. We read a variety of the mystery genre from cozies to psychological suspense.
This month we are reading The Guest List by Lucy Foley.
Reminiscent of Agatha Christie's And Then Were None, everyone is a suspect in this wedding party and who will make it out alive?
On an island off the coast of Ireland, guests gather to celebrate two people joining their lives together as one. It’s a wedding for a magazine, or for a celebrity.
As the champagne is popped and the festivities begin, resentments and petty jealousies begin to mingle with the reminiscences and well wishes.
And then someone turns up dead. Who didn’t wish the happy couple well? And perhaps more important, why?
The Plot Thickens meets on the 1st Thursday of the month in the 2nd Floor Workforce Development Classroom at 6pm.
