Participants will learn the fundamentals of playwriting, including basic dramatic structure, character development, and dialogue. The session will explore how real-life experiences can become compelling material for the stage, with a look at examples of memorable monologues. Participants will then have the opportunity to write their own short monologue and, if they choose, share it with the group for supportive feedback and discussion.

TIME: 11:00am - 1:00pm

LOCATION: Workforce Development Area, 2nd floor across from the elevator
