The MAD Movie-A-Thon-O-Rama: Carry On Nurse (1959)
Thursday, January 28, 2027 6 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.
Although it would go on to become an institution of British comedy, Carry On Nurse was the first sequel in the long running Carry On series. Hi-jinx abound in the Haven Hospital when the men's ward revolts against the authoritative Matron who oversees their well being with an iron fist. It's the movie that made daffodils the funniest flower in the garden. Includes series favorites Kenneth Williams, Hattie Jacques, Kenneth Connor, Charles Hawtrey and Joan Sims, along with Goldfinger's "golden girl," Shirley Eaton. 86 minutes. Food and drink are allowed in the auditorium during the film.
