The truth is all human beings have biases that affect our perceptions and influence our behaviors and relationships.  Better understand how unconscious biases can be a barrier and learn ways we can address our individual biases to impact efforts in moving the needle toward inclusion. U'Meeka Smith is the Assistant Director, Office of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion for Huntsville City.
