Never touched a sewing machine before? Want to learn how to sew but don't know where to begin? Start here!

In this beginner-friendly workshop, we’ll cover the absolute basics of machine sewing: how to thread the machine, adjust tension, sew a straight line, and troubleshoot common issues without wanting to scream. You’ll leave knowing how to make your machine do what you want—not the other way around.

This is a no-shame, no-stress zone. Whether you’ve got a cosplay in mind, a pair of pants to hem, or you’re just curious, we’ll get you started as we learn together. Machines are provided (or bring your own if you prefer). All skill levels welcome, but we’ll be going slow and supportive.
