Join us at the Downtown Huntsville Makerspace as we dive further into how to use a sewing machine as we learn to make our own tote bags!   This is a beginner level project. Attendees are expected to have already taken our Sewing 101 workshop or know how to independently operate a sewing machine and sew a straight stitch.

All materials will be provided. You are welcome to bring your own sewing machine or use one of ours. If you would like to use a makerspace sewing machine, please make a request in advance.

UPDATE: All makerspace sewing machines have been reserved. Spots are still available, however you will need to bring your own machine.

If you are looking to learn the basics of sewing, we have a separate sewing machine basics class which provides more guided instruction.

Space is limited and registration is required.
