Watch Party for The American Revolution Documentary by Ken Burns

We will watch one episode each week and finish on July 1, just in time to celebrate America 250. 

Episode Two: An Asylum for Mankind (May 1775 – July 1776) covers the Second Continental Congress, formation of the Continental Army, several battles including Bunker Hill and the Patriot seizure of artillery at Fort Ticonderoga, the evacuation of British troops from Boston, and Congress adoption of the Declaration of Independence.

The American Revolution Series:

May 27 - Episode 1: In Order to Be Free (May 1754-May 1775) 

June 3 - Episode 2: An Asylum for Mankind (May 1775 – July 1776)

June 10 - Episode 3: The Times That Try Men’s Souls (July 1776 – January 1777)

June 17 - Episode 4: Conquer by a Drawn Game (January 1777 – February 1778)

June 24 - Episode 5: The Soul of All America (December 1777 – May 1780)

July 1 - Episode 6: The Most Sacred Thing (May 1780 – Onward)
