Horror Hangout
Saturday, October 31, 2026 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Are you a fan of ghosts, ghouls, and things that go bump in the night? This could be the club for you! Horror Hangout is Downtown's club for horror aficionados. More than just a book club, this group for adult horror fans will discuss films, crafts, books, and more, with a different theme for each month.
Join us on a special day and time as we watch three horror films to celebrate Halloween: Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1988), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1992), and The Haunting (1963).
Instead of our usual meeting day, Horror Hangout will meet on Saturday, October 31st, for an all-day moviethon hosted in the 2nd Floor Events Room at the Downtown Huntsville Public Library!
The door for the 2nd Floor Events Room will open at 9:00 am.
I will give a brief introduction at 9:15 am before starting the films.
Killer Klowns from Outer Space will start approximately at 9:30 am - running time is 88 minutes
Buffy the Vampire Slayer will start approximately at 11:15 am - running time is 86 minutes
The Haunting will start approximately at 2:00 pm - running time is 114 minutes
Popcorn is provided, and food and drink is allowed in the 2nd Floor Events Room.
Horror Hangout meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6pm.
