First Saturdays are for Tweens! Come craft projects, trade Pokemon, play games, and meet new friends!

May 6: The Bias Inside Us program on stereotypes and Pokemon trivia

Hang out on the first Saturday each month and make new friends! Tween Get Together features a different activity or craft each month, hosted by a youth librarian. Look forward to arts and crafts, movies, tv show marathons, Pokemon trading days, tabletop and card games, and more.

On May 6, we will be doing a program entitled "Judge Not, Lest Ye Be Judged", created by the Institute for Humane Education. This activity is meant to explore our snap perceptions of others and how stereotypes limit us. Recommended for ages 9 and up.

This program is being offered in coordination with the Smithsonian exhibit The Bias Inside Us. For more information about this initiative or for more resources, please visit: https://biasinsideus.si.edu/homepage.
