Anime Matinee (At Night!): Blue Thermal

Hoping for a fresh start during her first year of college, Tamaki leaves her small hometown far behind.  As a former sporty girl who was romantically rejected for being too athletic, she just wants to take life easy, have some fun, and fall in love like a "normal" college girl.  But when she indirectly causes an accident that damages one of the campus Aviation Club’s expensive gliders, Tamaki ends up working for the club to pay off her debt.   Though grudging and unhappy with the arrangement at first, she soon falls in love...with flying.  When her natural talent for piloting shines through, the Aviation Club seems to stand a real chance at winning an important competition...but there are clouds on the horizon when the personal troubles of the club’s kind (and handsome) captain come to light.

Will Tamaki spread her wings and find true happiness, or will she be blown off-course by an unexpected storm of the heart?

The Auditorium opens at 6:00 p.m. and the movie begins at 6:30 p.m. Food and drink are allowed in the auditorium during the film.  We will be watching this film in the original Japanese with English subtitles.
