America 250: The Civil Rights Movement in Huntsville

The city of Huntsville was the site of many firsts in the state during the Civil Rights Movement. We will take a look into the history of Huntsville’s Community Service Committee and the brilliant actions of local Civil Rights leaders. The presentation will highlight a historical collection of Community Service Committee material held in the archive of HMCPL Special Collections.
