It's 1962 and film producer Lawrence Woolsey visits Key West to promote his new gimmick movie- MANT (half-man/half-ant...ALL TERROR!). Military brat Gene Loomis loves monsters and scary movies and can't wait to see Woolsey's new classic. The premiere coincides with the threat of the Cuban Missile Crisis looming over the base. John Goodman plays the Hollywood showman with his bag of tricks and gimmicks to sell his new horror flick. A coming-of-age, teen-romance comedy. Gratuitous madcap matinee shenanigans. MANT, the film-within-the-film is a loving tribute to the classic monster movies of the 50s and 60s. Adult language and adult situations. The Auditorium opens at 6:00 p.m. and the movie begins at 6:30 p.m. Food and drink are allowed in the Auditorium during the movie.
