Master Gardener February Gardening Series: Growing Organically

Growing your own organic veggies can be rewarding, good for the environment, and help you save on your growing food bill. This workshop will set you up to enjoy the benefits of growing some of your own fresh, healthy and nutritious food.  Key topics we'll discuss:

  • What does growing organically mean?
  • Designing an organic garden.
  • Soil management, amendments, and composting.
  • Organic fertilizers.
  • Introduction to crop rotation.
