JAWS 2 (1978)
Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, another mechanical shark settles in to Amity Island, again leaving Chief Brody to convince the city council to close the beaches. The first sequel to the first summer blockbuster was also the first Hollywood film to use the number 2 in its title rather than the Roman numerals. Sure, purists will complain that it's not as good as the first one, but I always thought JAWS 2 was a solid sequel and went on to be the sixth most profitable movie of 1978. The Auditoriums open at six and the movie starts at 6:30. Food and drink are allowed in the Auditoriums during the movie. Library will close before the movie is over. 116 mins.
