Wet Felting Workshop - Felted Orts Vessel

With award winning local artist Kami Watson we are hosting a Wet Felting Workshop at the North Huntsville Makerspace Studio and will be making Felted Orts Vessel.
What is an Orts Vessel? Orts means scraps. We will create a vessel decorated with these orts to create a beautiful, colorful and decorative vessel. Wet felting is a process of creating textile out of wool fibers. Join us for this hands on workshop learning techniques of wet felting and create a finished product to take home. Wet felting is a process of creating a beautiful hand made textile out of wool fibers. In the workshop we'll have hands on experience, learn techniques, and go home with a finished product.
Kami is sponsored by the Verdant Fund grant which makes it possible for her time and all materials to be provided for this workshop.
