Classic Pages Book Club

Exposure to classic literature allows readers to gain an understanding of the world and helps readers navigate the complexities of modern life. Classic Pages Book Club features classic novels and novellas published around the world since the 1800s.
The Classic Pages Book Club selection for September is Silas Marner by George Eliot. Do you remember the movie, Annie? Now imagine it's set in a village in the nineteenth century. Cantankerous old man adopts delightful child. Transformation and redemption ensue.

Classic Pages Book Club meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 6 pm. The book club is held in the Reading Room at South Huntsville Public Library.
Attendees should have read or attempted to have read the book before attending the book club. Please come with questions and comments about the book.
