The Forgotten Classics series returns with Melvin and Howard (1980). The story of hard-luck Melvin E. Dummar, who claimed to have received a will naming him an heir to the fortune of Howard Hughes. Directed by Jonathon Demme who would go on to direct The Silence of the Lambs (1991) and Philadelphia (1993), the film was well received when it was released and is cited by director Paul Thomas Anderson as one of his favorites.
This film is rated R, so this film showing is for Adults 18+ ONLY.
