My Neighbor Totoro (1988, Fantasy/Adventure/Family, 1h 26m, G)

Join us as we watch another of the masterful Hayao Miyazaki's many incredibly beautiful films, My Neighbor Totoro.

When their parents decide to move to a new house in the verdant countryside of 1950s Japan, all 10-year-old Satsuki and her 4-year-old sister Mei expect is the happiness of being closer to their sick mother, who is hospitalized.  But what they find is far more beauty, strangeness, and heartwarming adventure in the embrace of nature than they ever could have dreamed of.  One of the most beloved films of all time, this film is a semi-modern fairy tale from the recent past that shows us the importance of the bonds between families, friends, and nature itself.

The Auditorium opens at 6:00 p.m. and the movie begins at 6:30 p.m. Food and drink are allowed in the auditorium during the film.  We will be watching the English dub of this film.
