The MAD Movie-A-Thon-O-Rama: Stunt Rock (1978)
Thursday, May 13, 2027 6 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.
Legendary Australian stunt man Grant Page plays himself in this action-packed, totally plot-less tale of Page traveling to Hollywood to work on a TV show and becoming involved with the fantasy glam-rock band Sorcery. It features scenes from such Page epics as Mad Dog Morgan, Deathcheaters and The Man from Hong Kong, as well as Gone in 60 Seconds, which he didn't actually work on. Stunt Rock reached a high-water mark in the action-stunt-documentary-concert genre that has yet to be outdone. We'll provide everyone who attends a whole seat, but you'll only use the edge of it! 91 minutes. Food and drink are allowed in the auditorium during the movie.
The movie will be shown in AUDITORIUM 1 of the Madison Public Library.
