The Mad Movie-A-Thon-O-Rama!
Thursday, April 14, 2022 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
The Mad Movie-A-Thon-O-Rama! has not only been extended through May, but we are adding a special feature in April for five films to screen for your enjoyment through May!
The cinematic hysteria continues on April 14th with Roger Corman's 1955 sagebrush action flick Five Guns West. Five criminals are pardoned and sent into hostile territory to retrieve a cache of Confederate gold. Six-guns blazing in western fury, all the action is presented in widescreen and glorious Pathe color as we celebrate the King of the Drive-in's recent 96th birthday!
The gimmick: Everyone in the audience will be deputized and issued both a badge and a western movie style mustache should outlaws show up during the flick.
The auditorium opens at 6:00pm. Please feel free to bring snacks or even dinner and make it a date night and have some fun. (Tables are available for easier snackage set-up.) Food and drink is allowed in the auditorium during the film. There will be a short discussion about the film and the gimmick at 6:15 and the film will start promptly at 6:30.
