John Carpenter's Someone's Watching Me! (1978)
The Mad Movie-A-Thon-O-Rama! returns with thrills and chills in time for autumn. John Carpenter's Someone's Watching Me! kicks off this series of chillers. Lauren Hutton plays a woman who is the target of a stalker in this combination of Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window and Dario Argento's Deep Red. It was made for TV and premiered in November of 1978, but little was made of the film as Carpenter was earning praise for his then hit, 1978's Halloween. The film disappeared for years and was considered the "Lost Carpenter film" by fans, only to finally be released on DVD in 2007 and now, Blu-ray. Adrienne Barbeau and David Birney co-star. Please note, because of the film's length, we will start the movie at 6:15 pm. The Auditorium will open at 5:45 pm. Food and drink are allowed in the auditorium during the movie.
