Sprouting Scientists Bookmobile Program TEMPLATE

Sprouting Scientists is a weekly outreach program developed in 2017 with the aim of bringing hands-on learning experiences to the young minds of preschoolers at the YMCA Early Childhood Learning Centers throughout Madison County. Our primary goal is to foster a love of learning through the application of a learn-by-doing framework, and our objectives are as follows:
- Create and deliver interactive STEAM lessons to preschool-age children
- Distribute reading materials to cultivate classroom libraries
- Foster a collaborative partnership with the Heart of the Valley YMCA Early Childhood Learning Centers
- Engage young students through hands-on learning and promote literacy, problem solving, and creativity withing the classroom environment
