The Mad Movie-A-Thon-O-Rama
Thursday, January 12, 2023 6 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.
The Mad Movie-A-Thon-O-Rama returns for another series of wild and wacky flicks in '23! Our first film is the 1962 sci-fi/horror classic The Brain That Wouldn't Die. When Dr. Bill Cortner's girl Jan Compton loses her head in a freak car accident, he revives the head then scours the back alleys and dingy clubs of Tarrytown, New York in search of the perfect body on which to transplant Jan's noggin. Jan teams up with the thing locked in the laboratory closet to turn the tables on Bill and his creepy assistant Kurt. Filmed in '59 but not released until '62, The Brain That Wouldn't Die is the perfect drive-in flick to kick off the new series. In Glorious Black & White. 82 minutes. The Auditorium will open at 6:00 pm and the movie will begin at 6:30 pm. Food and drink are allowed in the auditorium during the film.
